Urdu has got an important place among all the languages existing all over the world and has become a popular language in every part of the world. Urdu is the national language of Pakistan which has emerged by combining Arabic, Persian and Turkish languages. The meaning of the word Urdu is ‘army’ which is the strength of the Pakistan nation. Pakistan has got a strong army consisting of dedicated soldiers who are willing to die for their country. The armies in the Pakistan regions in older times consisted of people from different nationalities. At that time there was different languages between the people and they could not understand each other. 

This problem leads to the necessity of a unique language for better communication between the people. The language Urdu has emerged on the basis of certain researches. Today Urdu is spoken in many other parts of the whole world rather than in Pakistan. Poetry is a medium for a writer to express his reaction against various aspects in the society and for conveying any message to the public. 

Poetry writers will express their reactions against various inequalities in the society through their writings and usually the writer’s mother tongue will be their writing language. Urdu poets like Mir Baber Ali Anees and Salamat Ali Dabir are very famous all over the world because of their unique writing style and their ability to convey message in simple words. Urdu poetry is written by the writers in various forms and all are very much popular all over the world.
