The school where I work as a Registrar is applying for an accreditation to become a college institution.  We have already prepared all the necessary documents for the said application.  For the past few years, the school has produced students that have passed the Licensure and Certificate Examinations.  This has aided us to be recognized in the Department of Education and to some other schools and universities.  The only examination we need to pass is the physical location of the school.

We were prepared though.  We had already ordered additional office supplies like forms, record keeping and reference materials to further filter the search area in the Library, index dividers, desk accessories and workspace organizers, labels and stickers for areas in the school that needed indicators.  We had also added more industrial supplies like garbage bins in every room, chemicals and janitorial supplies for every comfort room, waste receptacles in every floor and skin care and personal hygiene. 

The supplies arrived the exact day we asked them to deliver it.  We had so much to arrange and had the supplies in their rightful places.  When the Accrediting Team came to the school and inspected it, they were impressed with our facility.  By the looks of it, we were assured that our school would be given the college status soon.

I have a 7 year old girl who wants to change the color of her walls because, as she takes it, she was already “all grown up”. Instead of pink, she wanted to color it blue. My 5 year old wanted hers to be like this color too. Since I wasn’t any good in painting walls, I searched for a professional paint shop in our area.

After a week, I was able to find the perfect company, paint store Raleigh in to do my daughters’ walls. They were very accommodating when I called. They asked me when I wanted to have their walls painted and what color would I like to use. They were very easy to talk to. Also, they guaranteed us that they only had professional and licensed people to do the job, so we don’t need to worry. They really showed that they are one of the best companies in our area. Everything was just very fast and easy, we were able to schedule immediately.

As they promised, they were able to finish the job within a week’s time. My girls like their walls so much that they were ecstatic! Also, they can sleep in their rooms even after painting the walls for this remodeling company I was able to discover!

I love to travel and explore different and new places with my 4×4 pick-up truck.  It makes me feel relaxed plus I get to meet new people and friends along the way.  I always make sure that my truck is ready whenever I need to go out of the city and travel in some unknown areas and places. 

I met a guy from Tyrone who had the same passion as I - truck and travel.  I had not been to their place so I decided to pay him a visit on a weekend.  He spoke highly of his place that I was tempted to go.  Right after work I immediately hit the road and travelled the 5-hour drive to Tyrone.  It was tiring and good thing that my truck had not caused me any sort of trouble.  I arrived safely at my friend’s house, slept for awhile and once again was up for the adventure ahead.  We were already an hour late from our itinerary.  I did not worry though for I know that my truck would not fail me.  How wrong I was!  The long hour drive had caused a malfunction in the engine.  It did not start even if we pushed it.

Luckily there is a transmission repair Tyrone around the bend.  They went immediately to my friend’s house.  Their transmission repair service was great and superb.  They were able to fix my truck in less than an hour.  My friend and I were able to have a weekend getaway.

The time has come to extend our house. My house needs to be repaired and make some improvements especially in our kitchen and bathroom area and more importantly, we have to build more rooms due to some family extension.  Raleigh home remodeling was referred to us by our neighbor.  It was the answer when they also had problems like ours. First, we thought of selling our house but our kids opposed us because they don’t want to move to another house or town.  My wife and I talked about it and decided to extend and renovate our house instead of our first proposed plan.

We were so glad when our kitchen was the first area renovated and it was done by Raleigh kitchen remodeling contractors. We have the first class kitchen. Elegant! A must-have kitchen in every home. After our kitchen were the bathroom remodeling and room additions services.  True enough, it’s a good sign that we made the right decision and our kids proved us that they have wisdom. There’s always a solution to any problem; It’s either the wisdom from the people around you or the decision you are going to make. We appreciate the output of the renovations and remodeling, the performance of the services they did and especially, the less hassles it made. Imagine if we moved to a new house, we have to also move our things out, packed it up and eventually place it to the next house.

It was a prom night. I and my friend Annikka were preparing for the ball when she was trying to put on a heavy piece of gold necklace by herself. We were laughing at such a chunk of design when she told me it was her mom who got it from an antique store. We were amused over it when it slipped through her hands and fell. One of the strings from the necklace was torn off; and both of us, who were making fun of the piece before, clamped our mouths and felt guilty.

We told her mom all about it and her mom felt really upset. She really gave a huge price for buying that necklace and she admired it because of its Egyptian-like design. We wanted to have it repaired, but there is no one to do it. So we decided to sell gold and see what we can make from it.

When we sold Annikka’s necklace, of course with her mom’s consent, we were amazed at how much it costs. We didn’t imagine that it would cost double than what Annikka’s mom has paid for. My friend’s mom eased our guilt and said we made a good choice when we decided to sell old gold. It was such a huge piece that is heavy anyway and we still laugh about it till now.

Jake is my best friend in the whole world. We practically grew up together. If we had time to kill we would really be spending the time playing basketball together, watch an awesome action movie and the works. It was just really funny that my basketball team mates kept on warning me that Jake was gay. At first I didn’t really pay much attention because I was really used to their jokes but this often disturbed me.

 I was on the verge of asking him when suddenly, he confessed already! Talk about a sick moment! I didn’t know what to say so I just plainly walked out and left him where we talked. It was just very surprising to me and so sudden.

Days had passed and I still haven’t talked to him. I didn’t want to drive him away, but I wanted to make it clear that I do not like guys and still keep our great friendship. So I had to think of way to tell this to him. Great thing my mom was a jokester like me so she told me to go online and get funny t shirts for him. So I did.

I browsed through the website and indeed it was so funny! Jake and I love a good joke so I really thought that this t shirt website would help me gain the friendship back. The designs were hysterical and they came with cool colors! So I didn’t second guess the site, I purchased a shirt that says “Have you seen Mike Hawk?” which was so funny. He liked the gift and eventually we became good friends again! Good job for that shirt company!

Our IT club is looking for a Used HP Disk Storage device for our files. After much discussion we decided to buy one. We were lucky that we found a store that sells a lot of them. We’re not too knowledgeable about technical details, we specialize more on software.

So it was a first for us, it is a good thing that they were quite friendly and accommodating. They didn’t fuss about us not knowing a thing or two about hardware and stuffs. They were very professional and told us the things that we didn’t know. They gave us explanations of its uses and how to keep it in good working condition. They also said that their product comes with a warranty, which means we could get it fixed if ever problems occur.

With the new system installed in our club we were able to put our files in a HP Disk Storage and were able to update and retrieve them when necessary. It has been a good experience for us and would definitely recommend it to anyone that would need similar networking equipments.
